Today I'm guest hosting and Dr Richard Alan Miller is on deck.

If you still have faith in the government and the major media corporations, that should be gone by the end of the show. The notes are extensive, so I'm posting them here:

Ratf**ked: The True Story Behind the Secret Plan to Steal America's Democracy Kindle Edition
by David Daley (Author)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016APOCRU/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1

Summary: We don't need Jade Helm and supercomputers to threaten our country and its form of government. All we need are clever political operatives lots of Dark Money and the willingness to use it ruthlessly. What happened came from the right. They saw the opportunity first. It could have equally come from the left if they had seen the opportunity first.

Discussion: The larger question is how else information technology can be used to adversely affect our lives and out political, social and economic freedoms.

An example: Data mining and use is not is not unique to Jade Helm. The ability to identify groups of individuals by race, ethnicity, income, buying patterns and voting behavior as well as a whole host of other data points are readily available from public and for hire databases to any user who has the need and the ability to process the information by asking the right question and buying the right software.

Once a province of supercomputers owned and operated by government’s research facilities and large corporations, there is now software that can be used to mine data using a PC that runs around 10,000.00 or less a copy.

Maptitude can mine data and identify behavior patters with many variables with a resolution of one city block or less.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maptitude

If you drill down into it you find that the application is touted to have the ability to create a map for just about any application.
http://www.caliper.com/Maptitude/solutions/default.htm

A second example: A powerful application of this software was used to create a guaranteed Republican majority firewall in the US House of Representatives that will last at least until 2022 and quite possibly 2032 according to David Daley

The access to the rich troves of data coupled with the unbelievably inexpensive and powerful analytic software allowed political operatives to create safe districts in enough states to create a guaranteed Republican majority in the US House of Representatives.

The program was called REDMAP and began with the targeting of key legislators in states that had certain prerequisites that would allow Republican control of the redistricting process that occurs after every Federal Census. This process worked beyond the operatives wildest dreams.

The operatives then used the Maptitude software in these states to create House Districts that, on the surface appeared competitive but based on voting patterns of actual voters heavily favored their party. The operatives were able to identify these patterns and behaviors down to a one city block resolution and sometimes even finer resolution, draw maps so the districts became safe districts and gave these maps to the state legislators who were handling the post census redistricting process in key states.

The results were striking. Before the last redistricting, Pennsylvania sent 12 Democrats and 7 Republicans to the US House of Representatives. After redistricting they sent 12 Republicans with safe seats and 7 Democrats to the House.

The Democrats won 51 percent of the popular vote in Pennsylvania and the candidates won 28% of the seats. In North Carolina pre-redistricting, the Democrats held 7 of 13 seats. After redistricting, the republicans held 9 of 13 seats. The process repeated itself in other states that met the criteria set up by Republican operatives.

This process using this technology and a surprisingly small amount of Dark money well targeted has eliminated competitiveness in the political process for the House of representatives for at least 20 years. Could the same process be used to interdict markets or supply chains?

Could the same process be used to reward certain population’s behaviors and used to punish others? I think that the answer is creepily obvious.
