What the Christophobes really mean is Sin Is In.
What troubles me is that we have whole denominations hopping on the Sin Is In bandwagon, but I guess it shouldn't be too surprising.
Nearly 2000 years ago, two churches were warned to turn away from sexual immorality in the Book of Revelation. Seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.
More recently, I'd say it's the lie of consensual relations sown with the sexual revolution of the 1960s that we're reaping today. The harvest is bountiful.
Consensual relations does not necessarily translate into Godly relations. From what I've read in the Bible, the only consensual relations that are not a sin are those between a man and a woman that is his wife or concubine. If you have any scripture that supports otherwise, please Contact Me with the reference.
Sexual immorality is one of a list of lifestyle choices that will earn you a place in the fiery lake. The good news is that there is still time to repent.
The cancer of sexual immorality has been growing in our country for decades and that's not going to be changed overnight. What we can do as parents and churches is to teach our young women and men about the consensual relations lie.
We should teach our girls that when they add the "W" of being a woman, that they pick up another "W" upon entering consensual relations. They have a choice of that "W" being a wife or a whore. One is permissible, the other is sexual immorality.
It's a similar message for our young men - consensual relations means they are either using that woman as a whore, or taking her as a wife. When you take a woman as your wife, you are to take care of her needs for the rest of your life (it seems our churches don't spend much time of what Jesus says of divorce).
We have a funny view on marriage today. We believe we need permission from the State and then say some words in front of an authorized official. These are just modern customs and another wascally wabbit hole to discuss later.
The Bible is hate speech to those that love sin and hate God. While we are to love the haters, we are not to accept their ways.
Keep the faith and repent as often as needed.
